ESports

Valhalla Vikings ESports ClubThe Valhalla Vikings ESports club was stymied this year due to COVID-19, but we are hoping that we will be full-sail during the 2021-2022 school year!

During the 2020-2021 school year, our club members participated in remote practices, and played several Rocket League and Fortnite matches.

***Stay tuned on more information about summer practices, official school year practice start date, and League of Legends matches!***

Girls Who Code Club

Girls Who CodeGirls Who Code Members

Girls Who Code is a world-wide organization, created to help decrease the gender gap between the number of men and women in computer science.

The Bangor Middle/High Girls Who Code Club provided opportunities for girls to learn HTML, Scratch, and Python coding. The girls thought of, and voted on, a theme for their club project. "How To Help Animals" won as their project theme.

The girls created individual projects in HTML (Mikayla & Katriela), Scratch (Emalee, Hayley, Lorraine, Mikayla & Katriela). The website was created using HTML code, and then the  Scratch projects were embedded into the HTML code to create the final club project.
